1. Is my mobile phone compatible with daPhone SIM?
iPhones and Android phones are not compatible with daPhone SIM™. However, all unlocked GSM mobile phones are compatible with daPhone SIM. If your GSM mobile phone is locked, please ask your operator for the unlocking code or take the cell phone to be unlocked in a mobile phone stores. This step is entirely legal.
2. What is "roaming"?
When you are traveling abroad, your phone goes automatically into roaming mode, connecting to the local cellular network, and your mobile operator bills you exorbitant rates for the use of foreign networks. daPhone SIM means no roaming bill when used in the countries on our list with the preferred provider. This means travelling freely and make calls without fear of excessive bills.

4. How much does it cost to make an international call?

6. At what moment does billing of a call begin?
Billing of calls begins from the moment the call is connected. Calls are billed by the minute. There are no connection fees on daPhone SIM.
7. Can I keep my phone number on my daPhone SIM?
daPhone SIM provides you with a new UK based (+44) phone number.
8. Does my daPhone SIM card or my credit have an expiry date?
Yes, there is an expiration date that can be verified in your daPhone account. The SIM can not be used after the expiration date of the credit. The SIM can not be reactivated.
If you do not user your SIM card daPhone a period of 6 months, your card will be deactived and you will not be able to make or recieve calls. To reactivate your phone, contact our customer service ( see prices in the terms and conditions of use).

9. Can I send and receive SMS with my daPhone SIM™?
Yes, you can send and receive SMS with your daPhone SIM. Incoming SMS are free your +44.

USER GUIDE
1 - FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH YOUR daPhone SIM*
- Remove the daPhone SIM from its plastic support. (The SIM card has a beveled corner and is the size of a postage stamp. The plastic support has the form and size of a credit card).
- Turn off your mobile phone and remove the battery. (In most cases, the SIM card housing is under the battery).
- Replace your phone’s SIM card with your daPhone SIM.
- Replace the battery, casing and turn on your phone.
- daPhone SIM requires a PIN access code after insertion. You will find your PIN code on the back side of your daPhone SIM “credit” card (the larger card that held the smaller SIM).
- Wait a few seconds for your daPhone SIM to connect to the network.
- Once you are connected, you can start making calls and benefit from our amazing low rates.
* Please first verify that your mobile phone is unlocked. All unlocked mobile telephones are compatible with daPhone SIM. You can ask your operator for the unlocking code or have your telephone unlocked in most mobile phone stores. This step is entirely legal.
2 - MAKING A CALL
- Dial 00 (or +) followed by the country code followed by your called party number and press the call key (or its equivalent, according to your handset model).
For instance, call 0033174xxxxxx or + 33174xxxxxx.
- After you press Call, there will be a short pause during which you will not hear anything. According to your handset model, a message might be displayed on your screen. Whatever the message, disregard it.
- After this pause, your handset will begin to ring. Answer the call and you will hear a message asking you to wait for your call to be connected. Once the connection is made, you will hear your phone’s normal ring tone.
- Talk on the phone when the person you have called answers.
- End your call as you do normally for any other call.
3 - RECEIVING CALLS
- Inform your friends, colleagues and family of your new daPhone SIM +44 number.
- Answer your calls as normal.
4 - SEND SMS
Always dial your destination number starting by 00 (or +), then the country code and the destination number.
